NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

            PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given of a public hearing before the Otero County Board of County Commissioners, acting as the Permit Authority, for the following date, time, and place:

December 17, 2020

1:30 p.m.

Otero County Courthouse

13 West 3rd Street, Room 107

La Junta, Colorado 81050

The purpose of the hearing will be to consider adoption of amendments to the Guidelines and Regulations for Areas of Activities of State Interest of Otero County, State of Colorado, pursuant to CRS §24-65.1-101, et seq., and pursuant to Chapter 1, Article 3, Section 1.301, et seq., of the Guidelines and Regulations for Areas and Activities of State Interest of Otero County.  Said amendments shall include the entire unincorporated area of Otero County, Colorado.

Copies of the proposed amendments may be examined in the Office of the County Administrator, in the Otero County Courthouse, 13 West 3rd Street, Room 212, La Junta, Colorado, during normal business hours.  Interested persons may call Lex Nichols, the Land Use Administrator, at 719-383-3038 for additional information.

All interested persons and organizations are encouraged to attend the hearing.
