You must bring a doctor completed Persons with Disabilities Handicap Parking Application every time you renew your license plates or hang tag. Please print the application following the link below and take to your doctor to have completed before you come in to renew your plates or hang tag.
Download Application here, take to your physician to have signed, and then bring or mail to us.
As of June 1, 2011, you need to submit an application completed by your physician every time you renew your Disabilities Handicap license plate or placard.

Otero County Historic Preservation Advisory Board (OCHPAB): Established by resolution by the Otero County Board of Commissioners in 2004. The Board’s purpose is to recognize, document and provide information and advice to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) concerning Otero County’s historic resources. This includes the research and nomination of sites to the Otero County Historic Register; and providing advice concerning land use decisions and Section 106 reviews. The OCHPAB also provides guidance and assistance related to historic preservation issues, possible funding sources, technical requirements, etc. to communities and individuals in Otero County.
