Colorado has joined two other States to have All Mail Ballot Elections all the time!
HB1303 passed in 2013 mandating All Mail Ballot Elections since most Coloradoans vote by permanent mail ballot anyway. Every election will be by mail but we have mandates that we must abide by such as Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs) and drop boxes. VSPC's are for citizens that do not want to vote by mail and the number we are required to have is based on the number of active voters. They will be open for 15 days prior to the election.
We are also required to place drop boxes for you to drop your ballots in as opposed to mailing them.
All active voters will receive a ballot in the mail and you will be required to decide how you want to vote.
